FURSTIN BOLERA qualified for final in Norten Hardenburg

The 4 year old chestnut mare FURSTIN BOLERA (Furst Heinrich) and Leonie won the qualification class for the Riding horse Championship for the Braunschwieg Hannoverian Warmblood Breeders Final in Norten Hardenburg with a score of 8.33. The judges rewarded their presentation with scores up to 9.0 in the individual catagories. They have thus qualified for the final to be held in Norten Hardenburg in July.

In the weeks before, this charismatic pair also won the riding horse classes in Okel (8.25) and in Westercelle (8.17). Furstin also took 3 rd places in the young horse Novice tests in Westercelle and in Essel. In Okel Jayden brown rode her to a 6th place finish.

Advanced wins for DACCORD AND SHOWTIME

The 9 year old D`ACCORD DE (De Niro) and Leonie got off to a good season start in Braunschweig.
In their first advanced start 2009 the took first place form a large starter field of 36. Further advanced ribbons for HALBERSTETERS MARTIN (Matula) and SHOWTIME (Polarpunkt)
In the Advanced Medium HALBERSTETERS MARTIN took 6th place and D`ACORRD 11th (39 starters)

Leonie also took home wins in both Advanced Classes In Hildesheim. She won the section for the younger horses with DÀCCORD (70.17 %) and the second section with SHOWTIME (69%).
D`ACCORD also took second place in his advanced medium.
With DYCOS D`OR (Don Marcello) Leonie placed 3rd in young horse novice and with SHIRA MAREEN (Stedinger) 5th.

Lots of Spring Ribbons

Our young horses were very successful at the competitions in the region. The five year old SHIRA MAREEN (Stedinger) and Leonie won the Young horse novice as well as the Elementry in Allersehl. DYCOS D`OR (Don Marcello) and Leonie were 2nd in the Novice and 5th in the Elementry.
In his first start in Novice the 4 year old SAN SERANO (San Remo) and Martin Swoboda took 3rd place in Westercelle as well as 3rd place in the riding horse class.
In Essel they were 4th in the riding horse class.

Two 5th places for DYCOS D`OR in the Novice and Elementry in Okel. In addition he took 2nd place in the Elementry test in Scheesel ahead of his stablemate SHIRA MAREEN.
The dynamic Stedinger daughter also took 2nd place in Westercelle and in Essel 5th place in Novice and 3rd in Elemenrty.

At his first competition start BENEDETTO (Belissimo - Western Star) took 5th place in the Novice class with Martin Swoboda in Okel.

To top things off the 7 year old ATHENA RUBELLA (Abanos) was well under way in her first Medium tests. In Essel she was placed 4th and 2nd respectivly in the Medium classes.

Melanie Asche with International Success

We were very happy to hear of Irish rider Melanie Asche`s 6 th place finish in International Advanced three star Three Day Event with her gelding DARGLE FLIGHT. Mel who trains her dressage with Leonie at regular intervals is now reaping the rewards for her hard work over the winter months.
