Grand Prix Win in Bettenrode

In Bettenrode Leonie started in a Grand Prix class for the first time since two years. She took first place with the Dutch bred gelding ORION (Jazz x Consul). The 5 judges gave her the highest scores from the total of 26 starters.
In Allersehl the week before, Leonie started ORION for the first time since his arrival at our stables 8 weeks ago. They took a respectable 4th place in the Inter II, a fine result for their first outing together.

SHIRA MAREEN qualified for Bundeschampionat

Leonie and the lovely five year old Stedinger - Wolkenstein II daughter SHIRA MAREEN qualified themselves for the Bundeschampiont, Warendorf in September. Despite horrendous weather conditions in Elmlohe (storm and rain), they came home with an 8.1 score and 3rd place in the huge qualifier class.

SHOWTIME shines on!

During the past weeks Leonie and the Trakehner stallion SHOWTIME (Polarpunkt) have continued their top performances. During the Provincial Championships in Hannover they won the Prix st George against top competition with a score of 71.4 %. A week later during the Trakehner national championships they again scored over 70 % in both the one and two star advanced classes putting them in an excellent second place finish each time.
Two weeks later the success continued at the competiton in Allersehl. SHOWTIME and Leonie set the standard and took clear victories in both the advanced one star (70.25%) and advanced two star tests (71.60%)

Lots of Ribbons

HINDENBURG (His Highness) returned to the ring in Allersehl. With Jayden Brown the 5 year old black gelding won the Young Horse Novice test followed by his Stablemate SHIRA MAREEN and Leonie. In the Young Horse Elementry the pairs traded places, SHIRA MAREEN taking „Gold" and HINDENBURG ,in his first elementry ever „Silver".
A further victory came for Leonie with SAN SERANO (San Remo) in the 4 year old Novice class. In addition Leonie also took third place in this class aboard FURSTIN BOLERA (Furst Heinrich). In the Riding Horse Class for 4 year olds FURSTIN BOLERA and Leonie pulled out all the stops bringing home a final score of 8.5! (walk 8.5, trot 8.5, canter 8.5, training scala 9.0, presentation and harmony 9.0 ) They were clearly the winners!
SAN SERANO also put in a good round and placed second in this class with Leonie.
Further placings for DACCORD, fourth in the adavnced one star. HALBERSTETERS MARTIN, seventh in the two star adavnced medium. ATHENA RUBELLA, sixth in the Medium and OXANA, seventh in the Medium. The Pinto stallion ZOSPECIAL placed sixth in the Novice.

In Bettenrode the youngsters were also well under way. In the Novice the winner was SHIRA MAREEN 8.4 with Leonie just ahead of Jayden Brown with HINDENBURG, 8.3. In the Elementry HINDENBURG and Jayden were again second. Leonie and SHIRA MAREEN third. In addition Jayden rode FURST FRIEDRICH to fifth place finish.
In the two star advanced Medium, Leonie rode HALBERSTETERS MARTIN to sixth place.

In Hannover Leonie took the following placings: SHIRA MAREEN seventh in Elementry, OXANA seventh in Medium.
In Gifhorn, SHIRA MAREEN was third, HINDENBURG sixth and ZOSPECIAL seventh in the Novice class. SAN SERANO placed second with Leonie in the riding horse class.
FURST FRIEDRICH with Jayden was second in the Elementry and SHIRA MAREEN with Leonie, 5th. Adding to their recent successes, OXANA and Leonie also took sixth place the Medium class in Gifhorn.

Team Hannover-South took home second place in the team competition at the Oldenburg Provincial Championships in Rastede.

Positive results for our Home Bred Youngsters

Over the past weeks our home bred youngsters have proved themselves good sport horses.
The five year old BENTLEY (Belissimo- Don Gregory) won yet again with Mayke Liebregts in Elementry (8.0). In Schneverdingen they were placed third in the same class.
In Brelingen, Natasha Nolting and the 4 year old REENERGYS BASIL (Belissimo - Wolkentanz II) placed second and fifth in the young horse classses.
