WM in Verden: ROYAL COSMO wins Hanoverian Championship

With two very good performances in Verden during the WM , the three year old black colt ROYAL COSMO (by Royal Classic- De Niro) expanded his fan club! In both the qualifying round (8.4) as well as in the Final (8.5), "Cosmo" under Fabian Janda, showed off his excellent rideability and three top basic gaits throughout every phase of the competition.

Leonie was extremely pleased with RICHTHOFEN'S (by Royal Blend) performance in Verden. Scoring over 71% they took second place with a lovely ride in the first test of the Nürnberger Burgpokal. The following day in the final test things again went very well. The young, 7 year old, RICHTHOFEN showed just a bit of "nerves" in the very full on atmosphere. Leonie kept it all together enabling them to just cut the 70% mark in this strong field of competitors putting them in a very presentable fourth place.

The three year old DEYONCEE S (by Don Schufro - Longchamp) also made a good impression in Verden. In the class for three year old mares and geldings Leonie and the pretty liver chestnut mare took fifth place, just missing the final by a hair, 0.1 point.

Advanced successes of the past weeks

Leonie presented her advanced horses in top form over the past weeks. Beginning in Springe with RICHTHOFEN where she won the advanced test and took fifth place with the Trakehner stallion TITIANO (by Münchhausen). In Hambergen Leonie took a winning triple. Again RICHTHOFEN took first place in the advanced class (71%). With TITIANO Leonie won the St George Special (70.8%). To top things off she then won the open medium two star with REENERGY'S BASIL (by Belissimo M) with over 70%. REENERGY'S BASIL also took fourth place in the advanced class.

During the Regional Championships in Hanover, Leonie rode the eight year old REENERGY'S BASIL to sixth place in the open Prix St. Georges.

At the Trakehner German Championships Leonie presented the stunning chestnut TITIANO once again in fine form. After finishing seventh in the Prix St Georges, they followed things up with a win in the open advanced test. Moving along they finished fourth in TITIANO'S first ever Intermediaire I start. This qualified them for them for the Inter I -Kür where they had a super go putting them tied for second place on points but unfortunately dropping them to third place after the tie break.

Leonie had a great competition weekend with all her mounts in Zobbenitz. RICHTHOFEN and REENERGY'S BASIL both together took second place in the advanced test. In addition TITIANO took third place following just behind his stable mates. In the open medium two star REENERGY'S BASIL here took second place and RICHTHOFEN third place. In the Prix St Georges REENERGY'S BASIL placed second and RICHTHOFEN placed fourth. On the final day, Sunday, both youngsters had settled into top form giving Leonie a double win, RICHTHOFEN first with 71% and RENERGY'S BASIL second with 69.6%.
