Boticello started his training with Leonie Bramall as a 6 year old. Within a few weeks they qualified themselves for the German championships and World Championships for young horses. Special triumphs included the win of the area championships title in Isernhagen and first place honors in the qualifier for the Nurnberger Burg Pokal in Verden 2004. With a total of 64 Advanced placings, including 25 wins, Boticello changed owners and moved to Sweden where he continued his success.

After winning the title of reserve champion at the provincial championships he then went on to win the German National Trakehner championships in Leverkusen 2003.
