2009 - A Successful Year

The competion 2009 went very well for our four legged friends. By total of 175 our horses were rewarded with a total of 163 ribbons. These were achieved at all levels, from young riding horse classes up to Grand Prix. 43 wins, 33 second places and 25 thirds were the balance.

The super star of this years showing season was with out a doubt the Trakehner stallion SHOWTIME (Polarpunkt). He and Leonie started 22 times at the advanced level and were placed all 22 times !
SHOWTIME won 11 times, was second placed, three times and third placed, five times.

Leonie brought home a total of 45 placings in the advanced classes. Along with SHOWTIME (Polarpunkt) the winners were, DACCORD (De Niro), MARCHENPRINZ (Munchhausen), HALBERSTEDTERS MARTIN (Matula) and WIDELO (Weltmeyer).

Our late summer arrival, the dutch chestnut gelding ORION (Jazz), had a gut debute season with Leonie. This pair won the Grand Prix in Bettenrode and also placed well in Bremen and Allersehl.
A further highlight was their start at the German Classics in Hannover. After placing sixth in the Grand prix they went on to a great ride in the Kur coming third with 73.55%.
As ORION has now been sold, we wish his new rider much success for the coming season.

The seven year old Swiss bred mare ATHENA RUBELLA (Abanos) also had a great season. In her first season at the Medium levels she took home numerous wins and placings. Also qualifying for the Swiss Championships where she placed in the final.

Our five year olds were also well under way. In addition to wins and placings in the Novice classes, SHIRA MAREEN (Stedinger), DYCOS DÓR (Don Marcello) and HINDENBURG (His Highness) were also winning in Elementry tests. SHIRA MAREEN and Leonie qualified for the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, however did not compete as the mare was sold over the Hannoverian Elite Auction.

Both of our four year olds also had a good season. FURSTIN BOLERA (Furst Heinrich) and SAN SERANO (San Remo) each took their share of wins and placings in young horse riding classes and Novice dressage tests.

Along with the above mentioned 2009 was also successful for FIRLEFANZ (Federweisser),
HIGH EMOTION (His Highness), OXANA (Sixtus), BENEDETTO (Belissimo), FURST FRIEDRICH (Furst Piccolo) and the Pinto stallion ZOSPECIAL (Special D).

Good News From New Zealand

During his first competition start of the Down under season, the six year old DORINGCOURT (Dressage Royal) and Andrea Bank took several wins in the medium classes at the FEI challenge with scores over 70%. In addition Andrea rode the past Celle State Stud Stallion LIMONIT (Lancier) to top placings in the advanced classes.

Also draped with glory was the six year old WOODSBEE (Wolkentanz II) with his owner/rider Kylie Baker. WOODSBEE was bred , born and started his career with us. Well done Kylie!
