Competiton season 2011 - a look at the year

Our 10 Anniversary Competition year since the start of our Dressage Training stables again proved to be prosperous. The grey gelding MARCHENPRINZ (by Münchhausen - Pilot) managed the successful step up into the Grand Prix level. He collected various placings throughout the season.

The positive development of the Londonderry daughter LADY LU was another highlight. The beautiful chestnut mare stepped up from her first promising starts in M* through wins in M** and finished the season placing 4th in her first advanced start.

Another successful season for the Swiss bred ATHENA RUBELLA (by Abanos - Argentinus). Along with several placings in Advanced classes she was a serial winner in M**. This brought her a total of 23 ribbons.

D'ACCORD DE (by De Niro - Hohenstein) continued his winning ways in 2011. Along with several advanced wins and many placings, the dark bay gelding also was a very reliable team member of the Team Kür competitions. Team Hannover South took home wins in all the Team comps for the year. (Verden. Rastede, German Classics and Pferd und Jagd).

Shooting Star of the season was defnatly the 13 year old LA SCALA (by Lancer II). Like the Phoenix from the ashes Leonie and La Scala had every ones attention from their first performance. They took several wins in advanced ** (Wolfsburg, Allersehl and Hannover). We wish La Scala and his new owner much success for their endeavors in 2012.

Leonie and Nina Hofmann got off to a good working start together during the German Classics in Hannover. Nina and the Rohdiamant son LEO AF MAGNUSHOJ took 6th place in Grand Prix and went on to a fantastic round in the Grand Prix Kur scoring 76% and taking second place behind Isabelle Wert and Satchmo.

That our own breeding produce is also competitive was proven yet again over this years competition season. Leonie took the 6 year old REENERGYS BASIL (by Belissimo M - Wolkentanz II) on to wins in advanced medium.

All eyes were on the stunning 3 year old mare SERAFINA (by Scolari - Don Frederico). After completing a top mare testing this fantastic moving mare went on to being class winner of her mare show and received her pending state premium title. In addition she was very competitive in the ring winning riding horse classes.

Both of our this years foals - filly from Fairbanks- Don Frederico and colt foal from Vivaldi -Rohdiamnt , received premium titles at the Oldenburg foal show.

Our year end balance with our competition horses came to 93 wins and placings. 21 first places, 13 second places, 14 third places. Along with the winners DACCORD, LADY LU, REENERGYS BASIL, SERAFINA, ATHENA RUBELLA and LA SCALA also in the placings were, LIBERTA (by Lauries Crusador), DETROIT (by Diamond Hit - Pik Bube II), MÄRCHENPRINZ, DEUCE (by Donnerball - Grenadier), and LEO AF MAGNUSHOJ. A well rounded season.

Our breeding products in the world

We had great competition results from our self bred youngsters from their new homes throughout the World. Kylie Baker and her lovely chestnut gelding WOODSBEE (by Wolkentanz II - Don Gregory) was New Zealand Champion at Medium level.

In addition, the 2001 born LOXLEY (by Londonderry - Don Gregory) took various placings at advanced level with his owner Felicitas Schroter. His half brother BENTLEY (by Belissimo M - Don Gregory) had a brilliant season on Austria taking front placings with Caro Poppinger up to Medium level.

From Australia we recieve regular good news regarding FURST TYME (by Fürst Heinrich - Münchhausen) from his rider Nicole Tough. With 22 starts they took 22 wins! This also included various Championship titles. His one year older full brother FIRST PICCOLO (born 2005, by Fürst Heinrich - Münchhausen) took 20 placings and wins in Medium one star classes.

CRUSENSTERN (by Contuer - Longchamp) and Angela Schreiber took 17 ribbons. The charming bay gelding was ing jumping and dressage classes up to Medium levels well underway. His half brother RAFFINYO (by Rosario - Longchamp) was successful in youngster classes.

The 3 year old DON FINESTRO (by Dancier - Pik Labionics) and Alex Kern took front line ribbons in riding horse classes. LA LUNA (by Last Liberty - Donnerhall) and also RASKABAN (by Rosario - Wolkentanz II) also brought home their ribbons.

Good news from Sweden, ACANTO (by Abanos - Grenadier) the striking chestnut gelding was successful internationally with his young rider.
