2012 - A look back

Alot to be looked back upon in 2012. A year of changes, challenges and success. Our personal highlight was defiantly the building and big move into our new training facilities. A dream come true for us !!! A huge thank you not only to our wonderful stable team for hanging in there. Also Guddi and Günter and the many workers involved. Volker's brother Friedrich-Wilhelm and his Tanja who over the summer and final stress weeks without whom we would not have managed to get finished.

Despite building stress and late nights we managed a successful competition season. Our team brought home 98 placings with 27 wins. 13 second placings and 9 thirds was the balance.

Especially well under way was Leonie with the six year old black gelding RICHTHOFEN (by Royal Blend - Wolkentanz I). The two of them won six times in young horse advanced medium tests with scores in the high 80s. They won two Bundeschampionat Qualifiers and successfully represented Canada at the Young Horse World Championships in Verden taking 5th place in the small final.

The first advanced competition season for LADY LU (by Londonderry - Wembley) went well as and also did for DETROIT (by Diamond Hit - Pik Bube I). Both horses brought home top placings in advanced medium and advanced. DETROIT also integrated himself as a top team player helping Team Hanover-Süd to a double win on the Regional Championships in Rastede and taking second place in the individual test. Team Hannover-Süd had a great year winning all five of their starts.

Leonie also collected wins and placings with the dutch gelding SUCCESSION (by Flemmingh - Good Times) in the Intermediaire level. Also placed in advanced was DIAMOND DANCER (by Dianmond Hit) who now is successful in Scandinavia.

Another highlight was the Grand Prix win of MÄRCHENPRINZ (by Münchhausen - Popcorn) along with further placings in Inter II and Grand Prix.

Leonie's student Laura-Patricia Muncz had a good year with the Palomino stallion GENISIS (by Golden Dancer) with wins and placings in Open Elementry and FEI Pony classes. With her 5 year old pony stallion GIGLBERGS DRAGONFLY (by Derano Gold) Laura was well underway and qualified for the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf.

Martin Swoboda was successful with various youngsters including the talented 4 year old gelding FELLINI (by Faustinus - Cordial Medoc) who has his new home now in New Zealand.

Our stall brought 22 different horses into the ribbons. In addition to the above mentioned were also SEIGNEUR (by Le Vaninqueur), the stunning TITIANO (by Münchhausen), DANCIERO (by Dancier), REENERGY'S BASIL (own breed by Belissimo M), STAR PILOT (by Stalypso), FORMIDABLE (own breed by Floresco), CHADWICK (own breed by Connery), DEBERTINA (by Dancier), STERNDEUTER (by Sir Donnerhall), and DANNY SAHNE (by Danone I).

As well we are very happy about the successful season our bred babies BENTLEY (by Belissimo M - wins in advanced medium in Switzerland), LOXLEY 56 (by Londonderry - placings in advanced), WOODSBEE (by Wolkentanz II - wins in advanced in New Zealand), BAKIRA (by Belissimo M - wins in Elementry in New Zealand), FURST TYME (by Fürst Heinrich - wins in Elementry and Gold Medall in Australia), FÜRST PICOLO (by Fürst Heinrich - Regional Champion and 4th on the German Championships for Young Riders), RAFFINYO (by Rosario - many placing in advanced medium), CRUSENSTERN (by Conteur - dressage and jumping up to medium classes) and RASKABAN (by Rosario - placings in jumping up to medium).

Congratulations to the successful news from horses which were coming out of our stable: DORINGCOURT (by Dressage Royal - wins in advanced in New Zealand), FIRST FRIEDRICH (by Fürst Piccolo - top results up to Inter II in Australia), LOXLEY (by Locksley II - Elementry in Canada), BIG (by Belissimo - wins in Canada) and LA SCALA ( by Lancer II - International Grand Prix for Finland).

The year 2012 brought 4 more top candidates several of whom have moved on the top homes already. A highlight for us was the win of our CHARMEUR - DON FREDERICO - WITTINGER - BOLERO colt foal at the foal show in Isernhagen.

And the top things off the expantion of our extended family our two new "watch pups" FLICKA and IKONA.
