Dressurausbildungsstall Leonie Bramall und Volker Dusche

2013 in Review

The first competition season based at our new stable was a huge success. All together our horses and riders came home with 145 rosettes, including 32 wins, 21 second places, 14 third places and another 57 placings.

This year RICHTHOFEN (7yo by Royal Blend), TITIANO (9yo by Munchhausen) and REENERGY'S BASIL (8yo by Belissimo M) had their first appearances at Advanced level. We were very pleased with their results. RICHTOFEN had 11 successes in total and TITIANO had 24 placings up to Intermediate I, both leading the prize giving six times each, with REENERGY'S BASIL coming home with 12 placings of which three were wins.

Leonie also presented the already accomplished S-Level horses LADY LU (by Londenderry) and DETROIT (by Diamond Hit) on the competition circuit again this year with success.

It was another remarkable season for MARCHENPRINZ (by Munchhausen) with many placings and good scores at Intermediare II and Grand Prix. A highlight was their impressive appearance at the German Classics in Hannover.

All together Leonie herself brought home 67 S-level placings this season of which 16 were wins and 16 were 2nd places.

Our bereiters, Birte Gherke and Martin Swaboda also had a successful S-Season. Birte with CABALERO (by Calido) all together placed 9 times while Martin with SUCCESSION (by Flemmingh) placed three times.

It was a super season for our youngsters. Above all, the 3yo black stallion, ROYAL COSMO (by Royal Classic x De Niro) had in total 3 wins in the young riding horse classes and gained the title of Hannoverian champion of the 3yo stallions in Verden.

Our home bred Sanjana BD (by Soliman de Hus x Wolkentanz II) gained title after title. Both starts in the young riding horse classes were convincing wins. For her mare licensing test in Schlieckau she had the highest marks in trot, canter and rideablity out of all the dressage mares. Following this she became victorious of her class at the mare show in Ahlden and was crowned Mare of the Show.

Our most successful horses of the 2013 season were Marchenprinz, Richtofen, Titiano, Royal Cosmo, Deyoncee S (by Don Schufro) HOFLIEBE (by Hotline) and special mention to our home bred horses FORMIDABLE BD (by Floresco x Don Frederico), Reenergy's Basil and Sanjana BD.

More places were gained in 2013 by Detroit, Lady Lu, QUEENSLAND (by Quarterback) SIR NIRO (by Sir Donerhall I) REGENTA (Regazzoni) SCARLETT (by Stolzenberg) and a special mention to our home bred SERAGON (by Scolari x Rohdiamont), SANGARE BD (by Scolari x Rohdiamont) SERAFINA BD (by Scolari x Don Frederico) and Rihanna BD (by Royal Classic x Don Frederico).

Once more it was a successful season for the Hannover-South team of which Leonie has unbelievably been a member of for 11 years. For 4 years now they have been unbeaten with the team leader Fritz Fricke. All 3 team events this year for the district associations were won by a considerable amount with special mention of the record set in Isernhagen with an outstanding score of 90.5%.

Wonderful news has reached us of the many foals that were born and bred by us in the last years and have now matured into successful competition horses.
A number of S-class successes up to Intermediare I were accumulated in 2013 by LOXLEY (Londenderry x Don Gregory) in South Germany. Also from the same mare line comes CHADWICK BD (Connery x Wolkentanz II), who under Casey Stickland in England was able to achieve victories and placings in young riding horse classes. RASKABAN BD (Rosario x Wolkentanz II) successfully competed in jumping and dressage classes to Medium in Sweden, while BENTLEY (Belissimo M x Wolkentanz II) had more successes in Medium dressage in Switzerland.

Also from the same mare line as ReEnergy's Basil and Sanjana BD came much success, as reported in the last newsletter (1-2013).
From LA LOU(Longchamp x Bolero) who we sold to Denmark some years ago, along with RAFFINYO (Rosario) and CRUSENSTERN(Conteur) we have received even more positive news. They have taken both their riders and owners through to placings in M-Level in 2013.

It has been a particularly successful show season for our horses around the world. MISS MOONSHINE (Münchhausen x De Niro) who is competing successfully from her new home in England. FURST TYME holds success after success at S-Level Nicole Tough in Australia, while his full brother FURST PICCOLO has been particularly successful in the area of Juniors up to M** Level. In New Zealand BAKIRA (By Belissimo) holds numerous victories and top placings. The youngest of the bunch SABELLA (by Spielberg) was successful in England at Elementary level.

From the formerly accomplished S-class and up to Grand Prix trained mare RONDA BM (by Rohdiamont x Pik Bube I) comes SERAGON BD (by Scolari) and SANGARE (by Scolari) with multiple wins in the riding horse and dressage horse tests at A-level.

Our now breeding mare, the St. Pr. St DIVA (by Don Frederico) has in 2013 brought us three successful mares, both in breeding and in sport; SERAFINA BD (5yo by Scolari), FORMIDABLE (4yo by Floresco) and RIHANNA (3yo by Royal Classic). Serafina BD was successful with Leonie in L-level dressage horse competitions before moving to her new stable in Denmark. Our colt foal (by embryo transfer) by Desperado (KWPN BY Vivaldi) was premium and reserve champion foal at the foal show in Isernhagen. Formidable BD won many victories and placings in dressage horse tests at A-level before moving to Baden Wurtemburg. Rihanna performed a very good mare licensing test and was awarded State Premium at the mare show, as well as achieving a very good 4th place at her very first start in riding horse classes in Isernhagen before her "maternity holiday" began. A very strong moving daughter out of DIVA from Franziskus born in 2013 was awarded premium status at the foal show before being sold to Australia.

Rounding off the many wonderful successes of our babies is the 4yo DEBERTINA (By Dancier x Pik Labionics) who under Casey Stickland was victorious in England.
