Show season 2014

This season we presented 16 horses at verious competitions. We were pleased with the results, a total of 103 ribbons.

With MÄRCHENPRINZ (by Münchhausen - Popcorn; in Intermediaire II and Grand Prix), TITIANO (by Münchhausen - Schwadroneur; in Intermediaire I ), RICHTHOFEN (by Royal Blend - Wolkentanz; in Intermediaire I), REENGERYS BASIL (by Belissimo M - Wolkentanz II; - in PSG), Leonie took first place honors in advanced classes. In one, two and three star advanced classes.

Leonie and Nina Rühl both rode LORELLO (by Lauries Crusador xx) to a number of advanced placings.

In total 52 ribbons in the advanced classes, including 11 wins.


A special success for Nina Rühl with LORELLO who returned from Bremen as Area Champion for the Young Riders.

A total of 20 first places, further 25 second places. Further winning horses were SAN SIRIUS ( by San Remo - Noble Roi xx; advanced medium), DONIZETTI (by Don Frederico - Lauries Crusador xx; young horse advanced medium), ROYAL COSMO (by Royal Classic - De Niro; young horse novice), DEYONCEE (by Don Schufro - Longchamp; young horse novice).

Further placings went to QUEENSLAND (by Quaterback - Davignón II; young horse elementry), DETROIT (by Diamond Hit - Pik Bube II), SUCCESSION (by Flemming), SIR LOMMEL (by Sir Donnerhall - Landioso), CLOONEY (by Corland), FURSTINA LA JOER (by Fürst Nympfenburg - Santini) and FÜRST HÄPKE (by Fürst Nympfenburg - His Highness).

Highlights for this year were curtainly Leonie's qualification with DONIZETTI for the Bundeschampionat where they placed 8th in the final. Further Leonie's excellent presentation with RICHTHOFEN during the qualification for the Nürnberger Burgpokal in Verden. Here they won the first test and in the final placed an excellent second.

Leonie and RICHTHOFEN finished their season with a win in the Intermediaire I (score 75%) in Worpswede.

A specially good year for team Hannover-South who for the fourth consequetive year remained unbeaten. Four wins in 2014!

With FRANYELIKA (by Fairbanks - Don Frederico), FURSTINA LA JOER (by Fürst Nympfenburg - Santini) and FLORISSANCE (by Floriscount - Brentano II) we had three new Statepremium mares. FURSTINA LA JOER won her mare testing in Schlieckau with a total score of 8,44 of 35 starting mares.

FLORISSANCE became mare show winner in Adelheidsdorf.


Our colt foal by VAN VIVALDI - DON FREDERICO became Champion Foal of the large show in Isernhagen.

Leonie's students were also successful in 2014. Mayke Liebregts ran from on success to the next and also qualifited SYMPATHIE (by San Amour) for the Bundeschampionat.

Wolfhard Witte (QUATERHALL by Quaterback and GANDHI by Gribaldi), Louisa Engelke with Ivory to the German Championships, Fabian Janda - 1st advanced ribbons (on RASSINA by Rascalino), Laura-Patricia Muncz - placings in advanced medium with DETROIT (by Diamond Hit) with LARGO NUCTURNO (by Lord Sinclair), Albert Habermann, Maike Brehm, Caro Ammann, Alessa Zimpel, Samanta Al Saifi, Christine Goslar, Valerie Rollwage, Andrea Heins were also in the ribbons.

The following horses from our breeding stock were well placed. FYRST TIME (by Fürst Heinrich - Münchhausen) won seven advanced tests. His full brother FÜRST PICCOLO continues to do well with junior rider Charlotte Tollhopf.

Also winning in advanced was LOXLEY 56 (by Londonderry - Don Gregory) and REENERGY'S BASIL (by Belissimo M - Wolkentanz II). In Austria Caro Popinger with BENTLEY (by Belissimo - Don Gregory).

Wins for SERAMAI (by Scolari - Rohdiamant) in Scotland and SARABELLA (by Spielberg - Münchhausen). Doing well in in England BERTINA (by DANCIER - Pik Labionocs) and CHADWICK (by Connery - Wolkentanz II).

Further horses we have sold with happy owners. FELLINI (by Faustinus) with Julie Brougham - Horse of the Year in New Zealand.

Courtney Babera winning in Australia Young Rider classes DELICATO (by Di Caprio). Jayden Brown doing well with FÜRST FRIEDRICH (by Fürst Piccolo) in Grand Prix.

Last but not least Kate Wilson with FIDELITY (by Farewell III - Wlt Hit II) having proved herself as a fantastic brood mare and now competing herself at the advanced levels.
