BOTICELLO presents himself as a dressage stallion with distinctive thoroghbred trademarks in a modern sport type. During his stallion approval, where BOTICELLO was named reserve champion and premium stallion, he impressed not only as a lovely charming type but also over his three exceptional basic gates.
Dreams of competitive success became an impressive reality. As a 3 years old BOTICELLO won several riding horse championships with highest scores, reserve champion at the south german championchips and area champion in Pfundstadt. After his stallion testing, where BOTICELLO ranked 3rd in the dressage section, he achieved an excellent 5th place in the 4 years old stallion group of the german championchips. To date this exquisite dressage stallion is a winner in series at the Medium levels. With impressive scores going into the 90% range! He was 3 time provincial champion, a highly successful competitior in the final of the 6 year old dressage horse competition at the world Championchips (Verden 2001) and the German Championships in Warendorf.
His father BRINDISI, a goverment stallion in Dillenburg, has sired a large number of high quality dressage horses and carries the genes of BOLERO, DAKAR and ARGENTAN, the finest Hanoverian sport breeding lines.
On the dams side with the thoroughbred blood of BLUE GRENADIER XX (approved for all breeding areas in Germany) is a guarentied edel component. With FIGARO follow the finest sideability and dressage lines that are highly sought in all marketing areas.
BOTICELLO is now well along in his sport career and training, and can look back at a highly successfull showing season. Along with many top placings at medium and advanced medium levels, followed 2003 ( 8 years old) his first season at the advanced levels. A total of 23 wins and placing in the Prix st George/Intermediare classes crown him as one of the most successful competition stallions for the year! BOTICELLOS first crop of foals also made an impressive appearence - highly modern types, with a thoroughbred touch and excellent basic gaits, what more could one wish for!
With now 30 wins at the advanced level (including Intermediare I) and international placings, Boticello can look back on a very successful show season 2004. A special highlight remains his win of the Nurenburger Burg Pokal qualifier in Verden as well as top success during the Hamburg Derby.
