Wolfsburg Competition
After the long, snow filled winter our horses finally made their way to Wolfsburg for their first competition in the middle of March. With very full start lists and good competitors all eager to get the season under way we were happy with our results. ATHENA RUBELLA (Abanos) made a good start with Martin Swoboda placing 7th in the advanced medium. Leonie rode DACCORD (De Niro) to 5th place in the advanced medium.
With the Trakehner stallion SHOWTIME (Polarpunkt), Leonie had an excellent ride to make a good impression and finish 2nd in the advanced class.
DORINGCOURT - Horse Of The Year 2010
Leonie´s students in Australia and New Zealand have been well under way collecting various ribbons and Championships!
Andrea Bank and DORINGCOURT (Dressage Royal) won the prestigious Horse of the Year title at Medium level at the New Zealand Championships. In addition Andrea was highly placed at advanced level with the former Celle State Stallion LIMONIT (Lancier) and her bay gelding FORTUOUS.
Jayden Brown, now competing back in Australia with his gelding FURST FRIEDRICH (Furst Piccolo), placed first in the Medium at Toowomba. Jayden took further wins and high placings on ALABAMA (Alabaster) and DALLAS (Dacaprio).
Jenny Gerke also rode FAIRBANKS JAZZ TIME to wins in the elementry classes.
Three Days, Three Weeks, Three Months, Three Years
The filly RIHANNA arrived safe and sound at the end of February. This charming chaestnut filly is by ROYAL CLASSIC and has us under her magic spell with her delightful character and top movement. Her dam is the state premium DIVA (Don Frederico- Wittinger- Bolero).
As of mid March RIHANNA has a new playmate! SANGARE´ by SCOLARI out of our state premium RONDA (Rohdiamant-Pik Bube- Wedekreis). This georgeous bay colt leaves no wishes open , beautiful in type and movement, a real eye catcher with the definate mark of an athletic sport horse !
