Successful Grand Prix debut for Märchenprinz

During the Hunxe Indoor Competition, Leonie and MÄRCHENPRINZ (by Münchhausen - Popcorn) celebrated their successful first Grand Prix start! They had a good performancee and placed 6th in the large starter field.

Area Championships and further comps

Taking second place in the first test and going on to win the final, Astrid Smolinski rode ATHENA RUBELLA (by Abanos) to the senior Area Championship title in Hildesheim.

The following week, also in Hildesheim, Leonie rode the 6 year old REENERGYS BASIL (by Belissimo - Don Gregory) to second place in the young horse Medium test. Leonie was also well underway in the Medium tests with DETROIT (by Diamond Hit - Rubinstein) and LADY LU (by Londonderry - Wembley) placing 4th and 5th. For D'ACCORD (by De Niro) 3rd place in both the Advanced Medium and the Advanced tests. ATHENA RUBELLA and Leonie were also 8th placed in the Advanced Medium.

At the competition in Verden (Aller Weser) Leonie took her second Advanced win of the season with D'ACCORD. In the Advanced Medium Leonie also took second place with D'ACCORD and third place with ATHENA RUBELLA.
Two new mares for our breeding program
With our self bred mares SERAMAI by Scolari out of Ronda (Rohdiamant - Pik Bube I) and SERAFINA by Scolari out of Diva (Don Frederico - Wittinger) we have two more top quality mares to enhance our successful breeding program.

3 year old SERAMAI made a very good impression at the Oldenburg mare registration in Hatten and now will go on to her mare testing in Vechta. She is already in foal to CHARMEUR (by Florencio - Jazz), we are most excited about her offspring next year!

3 year old SERAFINA had an excellent mare testing result in Klein Schoppenstedt, she was the highest scoring Dressage Mare (22 mares) in the test. With our Bereiterin Lina Siemke, she was scored 9 in trot, 8.5 in canter and walk and 9 for rideability. We also anxiously await this excellent mares foal next year!

Our foals world wide

FURST TYME (by Fürst Heinrich - Munchhausen) continues his success in 2011. During the New South Wales Championships in Australia the handsom bay gelding won both tests (5 year olds) with over 80%. His 6 year old full brother, FURST PICCOLO, took 4th place in his first Medium level test in Bayern, Germany.
A series of wins for BENTLY (by Belissimo - Don Gregory) in Austria. 6 times he placed first with his new owner. His half brother, LOXLEY (by Londonderry - Don Gregory) took a further advanced placing in Prix st George.
