A flood of ribbons in Hannover

Leonie made a big impression with LA SCALA (13 year old gelding by Lancer II) during the dressage competition in Hannover. Starting with 5th place in the two star advanced they went on to win the Inter I and took 2nd place in the Inter I Kur (73.8%). The beautiful chestnut mare LADY LU (Londonderry) and Leonie also had a top weekend. After winning the advanced medium (69.94%) they then placed third in the advanced medium two star. With stable mate ATHENA RUBELLA (Abanos) Leonie also took third in two star advanced medium as well as placing 9th in the large advanced class. DACCORD DE (De Niro) placed 7th in the advanced and Leonie rode the 7 year old DETROIT (Diamond Hit) to to 6th place in advanced medium.

Competition results from the past weeks

Our horses presented themselves in good form over the past weeks at various venues. Beginning of July Astrid Smolinski rode ATHENA RUBELLA to 4th place in the medium in Klein Vahlberg. During the competition in Isernhagen Leonie rode the grey Wesfalian gelding MARCHENPRINZ (Munchhausen) through from Grand Prix to qualify for the Kur. Here they placed tenth amongst the field of top starters. In Vorsefelde Leonie rode LADY LU to 3rd place finsh (despite almost drowning in torrential rain!). In the same class ATHENA RUBELLA placed 6th. A further two advanced placings in Vorsfelde for DACCORD, seventh place and ATHENA RUBELLA, eighth place.
Leonie had a spectacular ride during the Landeschampionships for 3 year olds in Hannover. Our self bred mare SERAFINA BD (Scolari - Don Frederiko) showed of her special talent in trot and canter scoring 9 for both gaits. The stormy weather and somewhat full on stallion behind her unfortunately caused her worries in the walk. End result 5th place in the Championship.

In the Prix St George at the championships Leonie also placed 6th with DACCORD.

In Brelingen Astrid Smolinski and ATHENA RUBELLA were not to be beaten. Here they won the medium class. Also in Brelingen was Lina Siemke with DEUCE (Donnerball). They took fourth place in both the young horse Novice and Elementry.

Hannover - South, brilliant in Rastede

During Rastede, one of the years competition highlights, team Hannover-South , under the direction of Fritz Fricke, pulled out all the stops! With the newly formed team they won the qualifying class with 33.40 points. Iris Scheminowski GROSS´S GRANIT; Astrid Smolinski ATHENA RUBELLA; Leonie DACCORD DE; and Wolfhard Witte LORENZIO then went on to win the final of the top three with 36.70 points. In the individual advanced medium class for team riders Leonie took 2nd place with DACCORD.

Top youngsters

Again this year we are more than happy with our foals! Both the filly by Fairbanks out of our state premium DIVA (Don Frederico) a well as the colt by Vivaldi our of our state premium RONDA (Rohdiamant) recieved Premium titles during the Oldenburg branding show in Isernhagen. To top things off our colt foal by Vivaldi was awarded Reserve Champion colt title.

Our congratulations to Katrin Pilgram and her bred by and bought from us chestnut gelding FÜRST PICCOLO (Fürst Heinrich - Münchhausen). They took first place and a lot of front placings at their medium tests.

As well our congratulations to Nina Rademaekers and ACANTO (Abanos - Grenadier). Together with the Swedish Young Rider Team they became third at the CDIOJ in Hagen and the Bronze medal at the National Championships in Sweden.
