RICHTHOFEN and GIGLBERGS DRAGONFLY qualified for the German Championships

Having gotten off to good starts at various competitions, Leonie and RICHTHOFEN presented themselves well in Prietzen at the Championship qualifier. In the warm up class for the 6 year olds (medium level) they took in final score of 8.5 and won the class.

On day two in the FEI 6 year old qualifier class Leonie and the Royal Blend - Wolkentanz I son survived the stormy weather and cashed in their ticket for Warendorf with a qualification score of 8.4.

Due to their consistent good performances and scores, Leonie and RICHTHOFEN have been nominated for the Young Horse World Championships in Verden in August. They will be representing Leonie´s homeland of Canada.

With a score of 7.7, GIGLBERGS DRAGONFLY (by Derano Gold) won the qualifier Dressage Pony Novice test in Bargstedt. With Laura-Patricia Muncz on board , the 5 year old pony stallion also received his ticket for the German Championships in Warendorf in September.


Lady Lu and Detroit with good Advanced successes

Leonie returned from Verden/Aller with good results. She rode the 8 year old gelding DETROIT (by Diamond Hit - Pik Bube II) to fourth place and LADY LU (by Londonderry - Wembley) to seventh place in the Advanced medium test. In the following advanced test for young horses the beautiful chestnut mare LADY LU had a lovely test putting her in first place, closely followed by stablemate DETROIT who came a close second.

Both horses were also in good form in Schillerslage. Here Leonie rode DETROIT to first place in the Advanced Medium class. With the lovely chestnut Trakhener stallion TITIANO (by MÜnchhausen - Schwadroneur), she took eighth place. In the big advanced class Leonie brought home eighth place with DETROIT and tenth place with LADY LU.

Further placings for DETROIT at the competitions in Alvern, sixth place in Advanced Medium and in Zeven, second place in the Advanced test.



Ribbons for DANCIERO, FELLINI, MARCHENPRINZ and GENESIS B

Martin Swoboda had a good competition with the youngsters in Hulsen Aller. From a starter field of 30 (4-6 year olds) in the young horse novice test he rode the 4 year old DANCIERO (by Dancier - Corelli) to second place (7.7) and the 4 year old FELLINI (by Faustinus - Cordial Medoc) to third place (7.6).

With the Wesfalien gelding MARCHENPRINZ (by Münchhausen - Popcorn) Leonie took fourth place in the Intermediare II in Bargstedt.

Laura-Patricia Munzs had reason to be happy after a great weekend in Schillerslage. With GENESIS B (by Golden Dancer) she took wins in both the advanced Novice and Elementry tests. Further Laura and GENESIS B took fifth place in the Elementry test in Sandbostel and fourth place in the Kur.

More good news

A good start to the competition season for Natasha Nolting and the bred by us REENERGYS BASIL (by Belissimo - Wolkentanz II). In Essel they took sixth place in the Elementry and sixth place in the Medium tests. Also from our breeding lines, CRUSENSTERN (by Conteur - Longchamp) and Angela Schreiber have booked in various placings in jumping and dressage to the Medium levels.

We were happy to hear news from New Zealand from our friends the Bank Family! The first foal out of our own bred BAKIRA (by Belissimo - Münchhausen) has produced a lovely filly. This filly was highest scored filly this year for the whole of New Zealand 78.5 points. The sire of this beauty is the Hannoverian stallion DORINGCOURT (by Dressage Royal - Glückspilz), who under Andrea Bank is this year a serial winner at advanced level.

From Australia good news reached us. ROCKET (by Rubinero - De Niro) took second place at his first comp in his new home down under in the young horse class with his owner/rider Vicki Colwell.

Congratulation to Pia Weymann. In her first test with SHINING (v. Sandro Hit - Plasir d'Amour) she tokk place 4 in elementry.
