Jubilieum at The German Classics

The spectators were treated to a very interesting provincial Team competition on the last weekend of October during the indoor German Classics in Hanover. At total of six teams went head to head presenting their most creative choriographic and musical Kur ideas for the judges panel. Once again the riders from Team Hanover-South with their team coach Fritz Fricke took the top honors winning this competition for the tenth consecutive year in a row!

This time Leonie saddled up her very reliable partner DACCORD whom together with team partners Iris Scheminowski (Grossos Granit), Thomas Scholz (Rubianus) and Wolfhardt Witte (Dancier) took the well deserved win.

New Riding Hall, "Old Masters"

On October 15 was the day! In front of 600 spectators our horses put their first hoof steps in to the perfect arena footing of our new Riding Hall. What a fantastic moment for us! Under the Event motto "The Old Masters", as always perfectly organized by Frank Henning, speaker Klaus Balkenhol revealed the secrets of dressage over a three hour time span. Using various riders and horses from our team as demonstrations the evening was a great success. Leonie herself took part with the 6 year old RICHTHOFEN and also MARCHENPRINZ, skillfully putting into motion the technical words of Mr Balkenhol.

Competiton success of our self bred horses over the world

The past weeks were great for Charlotte Tollhoph aboard the bred by us FURST PICOLO (Furst Heinrich-Munchhausen). They ended up fifth at the German Championships for the Juniors missing the bronze medal by only 0.9 points. Two weeks later they were unbeatable at the Hessen provincial Championships where they took home Gold in the Junior division.

Top honors at their first outing, the state premium mare BAKIRA (BelissimoM-Munchhausen), a direct half sister to Furst Picolo, and Andrea Bank in New Zealand. Having produced the Champion foal of all New Zealand (Sire: Doringcourt from Dressage Royal) BAKIRA started her own competiton career taking two first places the first time out.

WOODSBEE and Kylie Baker had a great comp start this year in New Zealand. Having competed successfully in the past with Leonie as a youngster, this son of Wolkentanz II out of our Don Gregory mare placed first in all his Advanced Medium starts this year. He and Kylie then catapulted into advanced level, winning their first ever start at this level.

Further five ribbons in advanced levels for Saskia Schroter and LOXLEY 56 (Londonderry out of our Don Gregory and thus half brother to WOODSBEE) in Munic, Ising and Himmelgarten.

A second place for RAFFINYO (7y chestnut gelding by Rosario out of our Longchamp) in Medium two star with Thomas Meinecke. With Angela Schreiber, CRUSENSTERN (Conteur out of our Longchamp) took further Elementry and Medium placings. Both of these horses also originate from our breeding program.

Well done Vicky Colwill with Rocket (Rubinero-De Niro) whom she purchased from us. She took Preliminary Champion in Australia. Congrats to Jayden Brown who took Austarlian Novice Champion title.
