WOLFSBURG

We had a good weekend in Wolfsburg! Leonie made a fine start in the young horse Elementry. She presented our 5 year old SERAFINA BD (Scolari-Don Frederico) for the first time out after her foal. With a lot of power SERAFINA demonstrated her enormous potential and placed third with a score of 77%.

In Wolfsburg RICHTHOFEN (Royal Blend) had a great go in his first open advanced Medium test. Leonie was most pleased with their result of 73% and to top things off they ended up in first place.

With the stunning Trakehner stallion TITIANO (Münchausen - Schwadroneur) Leonie took 5th place in Advanced medium and RICHTHOFEN was also 6th in this test. To top things off DETROIT (Diamond Hit) took fifth place in the advanced class.

In Wolfsburg Martin Swoboda achieved his first ever advanced placing aboard SUCCESSION (Flemmingh). Well done Martin!

Astrid Smolinski got of to a good seasons start in Warmeloh. Here she rode our self bred four year old chestnut gelding FORMIDABLE BD (Floresco-Don Frederico) to a close second place finish in the young horse novice class scoring 76% . A week later in Rinteln they again were well in form and came out the winners in young horse novice.

In Uetzingen, RICHTHOFEN and Leonie pulled in their second advanced medium win with a score of 80%.

In Westercelle it was TITIANO`s turn again. Here he and Leonie took second place in advanced medium.

Further good news of our self bred youngsters. In England Casey Stickland won twice in Elementry on her first time out with CHADWICK BD (Connery- Don Gregory). Chadwicks directly related uncle, also bred by us, LOXLEY56 (Londonderry -Don Gregory) was once again placed in Inter I in Bavaria, Germany.

In Scottland SABELLA (Spielberg-Munchhausen) placed 2nd and 3rd in her first outing in Novice. This mare also comes from our breeding program. Well underway is FÜRST PICOLO (Fürst Heinrich- Munchhausen) who with his Junior rider took 5 wins in Elementry and a 3rd place in Medium.
Top success for FÜRST PICOLO`S full brother in Australia. FURST TYME (Fürst Heinrich- Münchausen) and Nicole Tough placed second (68%) in his first time at advanced and went on to a win (70%) in the second advanced test.

Congratulations to Jayden Brown and FÜRST FRIEDRICH (Fürst Piccolo). Both won the Intermediare II in Sydney.

Foals 2013

We have been very fortunate with our two newly arrived foals. The first to appear was Diva´s filly. A very typey and strongly cadenced moving foal by last years German Champion FRANZISKUS (Station Holkenbrink).

As second to follow was our embryo transfer out of our lovely Scolari daughter, SERAFINA (DIVA`S daughter). After an excellent colt in 2012, we had used the same combination (using the very successful Dutch stallion DESPERADO). Out popped Mr Super Chic. Black like daddy and beautiful! Very modern in type and strong and clear in his movement!

Photo of the Month

The snapshot of our Filly foal by FRANZISKUS and our Flicka had hardly been posted by Facebook and we were bombarded by nearly 10,000 spontanious congratulatory greetings for capturing the special moment.

The old masters Part II

For all dressage friends, who visited us last fall to listen and learn as Klaus Balkenhol spoke his words of wisdom. This a pre-reminder that this year on October 22 Jurgen Koschel will be our guest speaker.
