A successful start to the 2014 season for Märchenprinz
As in almost every year, it has been a successful 2014 season opener for MÄRCHENPRINZ, on this occasion at the indoor tournament in Verden. Here, Leonie started with MÄRCHENPRINZ (Westfalien by Münchhausen - Popcorn) in the Grand Prix and was happy after a very good test to place third. Equally well presented in the Grand Prix kur, the grey gelding again took out third place.
Once again an all-round convincing kur was shown by the Quadrille-team Hannover-Süd, for which Leonie saddled the trakhener stallion TITIANO (by Münchhausen - Schwadroneur). With an outstanding score of 81%, it was a win for the team who continued their wave of success and have sustained their winning streak for over four years.
There was another competition start for Leonie in Hanstedt. Here she also presented MÄRCHENPRINZ in excellent form in the Grand Prix, in which the pair was again third with a score of 68.83%. In the Dressage class for the S** TITIANO left a very good impression. With minimal difference in the scores to those placed in front of him, the "Beau" placed fourth.
Success for Mayke Lieregts and Louise Engelke
There have already been some very successful weekends for Mayke Liebregts in the first weeks of 2014. In Harsefeld with FIORELLO (by Faustinus) they were rewarded with a score of 71.81%, narrowly missing the win to take second place in the Dressage M** class. Here with FELLOW (by Fabriano) she also placed second in the St. Georg Special.
In Verden, Mayke and FELLOW were fourth in the St. Georg Special and sixth in the Intermediare I. There was more "edge" to follow in Hanstedt, with a third place for FELLOW in the S** and a fourth place in the M** with FIORELLO.
Success was also had by Louisa Engelke at the start of the competition season in Vechta. With her grey mare IVORY, they achieved a very good third place in the final.
Bred by us, BENTLEY (by Belissimo M - Wolkentanz II) with his Swiss owner had a good start to bring in the New Year. Under Caro Popinger, the chestnut gelding placed second in the Dressage M** class.
To conclude, we would like to congratulate Wolfhard Witte on his very good and impressive appearance with QUATERHALL (by Quaterback x Walt Disney) at the Stallion presentation at Landgestut Celle in Verden. We look forward to this year's competition season with you.
