GOLDEN SEPTEMBER

The final weeks of the competition season 2014 produced top results for our team. "Super star" RICHTHOFEN (Hann., 8 year old by ROYAL BLEND) presented by Leonie in top form in Worpswede and in Bremen was "ON FIRE" . With 71.20% the black gelding took first place in the Prix st George. The following day they maintained their super form with RICHTHOFEN going on to win his first ever Intermediare I with an excellent score of 72.14%

Leonie and Richthofen were again unbeatable in Bremen. Here they won the Prix st George with an awesome 74.85% score! Leonie also had a good weekend in Bremen with her second mount, REENERGYS BASIL (Hann., by Belissimo M - Wolkentanz II) , together with the big 9 year old chestnut gelding she took second place in the Prix st George with 72.41%.

Leonie´s other "trusty four legged partners" were not to be out done in Bremen. Our self bred "BASIL" took first place the day before in the Prix st George Special scoring 70.40%.

To top things off MARCHENPRINZ (14y. old Westfalian by Münchhausen) and Leonie had a super test in the Intermediare II scoring 69.48% and taking first place here as well.

A win in the open advanced at the competition in Beedenbostel. This time it was the charming chestnut Trakehner stallion TITIANO (10y. old Trakehner by Münchhausen) who took the first place honors!

Further placings came for Leonie with REENERGYS BASIL in Allersehl, second in Prix st George, in Wolfenbuttel third place, 71.19%, as well as in Schwanewede fifth place. TITIANO collected further open advanced ribbons in Wolfenbuttel and in Worpswede.

 

DONIZETTI top in Warendorf

Super performances for Leonie and DONIZETTI (Hann., by Don Frederico) at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. Off to a good start in the first round where they placed 7th with 8.1 they qualified themselves directly for the final of the 6 year old dressage horses. They held their consistent form with Leonie riding the black gelding to eighth place in the final with a score of 8.0.

 

Provincial champion Bremen: Nina Ruehl

Well done Nina Ruehl mit LORELLO (Hann., by Lauries Crusadorxx). In Allersehl sixth place in the Prix st George. Then in Schwanewede placings third and sixth in Prix st George and the Championship for Bremen Young Riders! Well Done!

 

Further results

In Allersehl Martin Swoboda rode the four year old ROYAL COSMO (Hann., by Royal Classic) to win the young horse novice test with a score of 8.5. With Queensland (OLD, by Quarterback) he placed third. In Schwanewede Martin and QUEENSLAND took fifth place in the youngster´s Elementry class and fourth place in Beedenbostel.

Martin and the five year old grey gelding CLOONEY (Zangersheide, by Coland-Lord Calando) had their debut together in Beedenbostel, here they placed eighth in the the youngsters novice and in Badenstedt they took third place.

With SAN SERIUS (OLD, by San Remo), Leonie won the open medium in Hanigsen. The weekend before she rode the seven year old Oldenburger in Wolfenbuttel where they placed third in the open Elementry two star and sixth in the open medium.

Further placings for Leonie with DONIZETTI in the youngsters open medium classes came in Allersehl (fourth place) and in Schwanewede (second place).

 

The Old Masters

Very positive feedback came for the event "Old Masters" which was for the third year successfully held at our Farm in mid September. Over 840 guests listened attentively to the words of Olympic Team Gold Winner Hubertus Schmidt.

Thank you to our "guinea pigs" Louisa Engelke with Ivy, Nina Ruehl with Flo (Hann., by Floriscount) and Lorello (Hann., by Lauries Crusador xx) and to Wolfard Witte with Quarterhall (Hann., by Quaterback - Landgestüt Celle) for their fantastic demo riding!

 

Congratulations

Top price at the Oldenburg Elite Auction for TORRIANI (OLD, by Temptation) whom we trained through out the past months. At 110,000.00 Euro the hammer fell and he changed owners! Our best wishes are with him that this handsome three year old black stallion hopefully continues his way along a solid dressage career

In Scottland the five year old mare SERAMAI (OLD., by Scolari- Rohdiamnant) continues to do excellent advertising for our breeding products. Scoring 70% and 71% she again was the winner of two Elementry tests.
