Gold for Jayden Brown Australia
A moment to remember for 20 year old Jayden Brown of Australia. As his national anthem played and his countries flag rose confirming his win of the Kur it was a special moment after a long jorney for this young man. Jayden represented his country at the FEI World Cup Final for Young Riders 2008 in Franfurt. A total of 12 riders (12 nations) had qualified themselves for this final.
It was Jayden`s 4th trip to train with us in Germany. For his horse, the 9 year old Australian bred gelding WIDELO (Weltmeyer), it was the first time flying. The two of them had the oportunity to polish up their performance for a couple of weeks with Leonie before heading down to Frankfurt. The final results being a dream come true!
Successful season end
Jaydens German competition debut was at the Dressage Classics in Elmshorn. Having ridden to a 5th place finish in the Prix st George, Jayden and WIDELO finished 6th in the Prix st George Kur final for Young Riders.
Also taking part in Elmshorn Young Horse Classics were Leonie wih DACCORD (De Niro). In the final of the best from the qualifier the day before they finished in 8th place.
More good competition results from New Zealand. Kylie Baker and WOODSBEE (Wokentanz II - Don Gregory, a youngster out of our own breeding program) were yet again twice placed with scores over 70%.

Further win for Hannover-Sud
During the second leg of the Team Kur competitons during the „Horse and Hunter" in Hannover, Team Hannover South again were the winners with scores from all 3 judges between 8.3 and 9.
Leonie and DACCORD, Iris Scheminowski and AYLA, Wolfhard Witte and RASCALINO and Thomas Scholz and RUBIANUS presented themselves in best form.
Training seminar in Hanstedt
A very informative seminar took place in the Riding Hall in Hanstedt on December 8. Johann Hinnemann and Leonie demonstrated their philosophies before a sold out public of 450 observers.
The way to correct riding on the bit was the theme, from the youngster to Grand Prix.
Once again we wish to thank The Celle State Stud with Wolfhard Witte and the stallions FURST NYMPHENBURG; RASCALINO and DANCIER for their demonstrative assistsnce. Also thankyou Dr. Axel Brockmann for his support of this well recieved event.
