30 Day Test in Schlieckau: DORINGCOURT and LANCERTO top

Both of the 3 year old colts in training with us returned from their 30 Day Tests with very good results.

In 3rd place from 32 stallions the Hanoverian DORINGCOURT (Dressage Royal - Gluckspilz) had a final score of 8.48. Scoring well on his Dressage suitability (walk: 8.88 /1 and rideability: 8.75 /3) the fancy black colt also put in a good effort over fences scoring 8.94.

The Holsteiner Stallion LANCERTO (Lancer II - Caretino) proved his outstanding jumping pedigree right. For his fantastic scope he was awarded 9.63 , 4th ithe jumping.

COMPETITION SEASON 2006: Over 100 times in the placing

Once again the showing season for Gestut Muhlenort (now the 4th year) had a successful run in 2006. Over 100 times Leonie and her team riders were able to ride their horses into the placing lists at various competitions. They were able to place 19 different horses over the season.

As so often before many of our successful horses change owners and move on. Despite this Leonie brought home 38 ribbons in the advanced levels. Positive for us was Leonies successful reintroduction to the Grand Prix Level with the Holstein Stallion LOOK WHO'S HERE (Landgraf). With their placings in Grand Prix ,both nationaly and Internationaly, they were placed on the long list for the Canadian Team.
Further advanced horses of 2006 include CHEER (Cheenook) , since August sold to USA, with whom Leonie took the bronze medal at the Regional Championships in Hannover .The Trakehner stallion SHOWTIME (Polarpunkt), CARL DER DRITTE (Calypso I), sold in July to Holstein and EQUITHEKS ROYAL FLASH (Royal de Saxe) who after a successful competition start with Leonie has now been sold to a talented young rider.

24 ribbons at the medium levels (including Advanced medium placings for the 6 year AURICS MARCHENPRINZ (Munchhausen), 21 placings in Elementary and a further 23 placings in Novice and Preliminary document our correct basic work and principles of bringing the young horses along from a solid base.

The talented Don Frederico daughter DONNA ANTONIA had an especially good saeson taking the 4 year old Championships in both Norten Hardenberg and Verden and qualifying for the Bundeschampionate where she made the final.
Positive also that all of the mares we prepared for mare testing (6 in total) all recieved the score of 9 for their rideability from the test riders.

In the over all ribbons for 2006 18 x gold, 28 x silver, and 14 times bronze.

For our breeding horses our colt foal by Furst Heinrch out of the Munchhausen - De Niro mare was the winner of the area show and went on to be Reserve Champion at the regional show. The title of state premium mare was awarded to our brilliantly moving DIVA (Don Frederico - Wittinger).

Of course a big highlight 2006 the WM in Aachen. Trainings partnerin Heike Kemmer and BONAPARTE rode to a brilliant win of the German Championship title in Munster, there after were nominated for the team for Aachen and went on lead the German team to the gold medal at the World Championships with a breathtaking ride in the Grand Prix.
