Dressurausbildungsstall Leonie Bramall und Volker Dusche

February 2005

Successful start to the season begin 2005

Six starts and six ribbons - this was the resume for the first competition of 2005 during the show in Verden. Boticello (top Hessen horse with a 2oo4 year win sum of 6238.oo Eros) and Leonie Bramall were placed 2 nd in the Prix st George, Intermediare I and Inter I - Kur behind the team olympic gold winner Ulla Salzgeber.

In the young riding horse class Leonie Bramall rode the now 4 year old Acanto to a 3 rd place finish with a score of 8.1. They went on to place again in the Verden Championship final.

The team Hanover -Sud was once again on top in the team kur. Although the had to start as the first team they pulled off the season hattrick. The already difficult kur was sharpened another notch and pulled in scores of 8.8 and twice 9 for the newly formed choreography. This combined with technical scores of over 8 gave Leonie (with Finesse) and her team colleges good reason to celebrate!

NEW ZEALAND - contacts for the future on the other end of the world

Sunshine, beautiful land and crazy open minded horse people were the result of a 12 day visit to New Zealand. Leonie Bramall and Volker Dusche were able to gather a general impression of the daily work with "kiwi" homebred young horses up to the advanced levels and also to the theme of breeding lines. This was all interesting "food for thought" regarding the building of future concepts.

WILD DANCE changes to the USA

After an outstanding competition season 2004 the now 8year old past stallion approval winner Wild Dance(Wolkenstein II - Matcho) has left Gestut Muhlenort for his new home in the direction of the USA. This talented young horse has already been highly succsseful at the advanced levels as a seven year old. He was advanced medium winner 7 times , advanced winner 4 times as well as booking in 13 further advanced placings.
We say "bye bye Double U -D" and wish him and his new owners the best of luck for an ongoing career that will hopefully allow him to fullfill his talents towards Grand Prix.
