STALLION LICENCING HANNOVER - Mühlenort makes a good impression at the preliminary inspection

ABANOS out of a dam by Grenadier - Bolero - Abhang III, this is the highly interesting pedigree of Gestüt Mühlenorts young stallion whom at the preliminary inspection in Adelheidsdorf was accepted for the Hannoverian Stallion licencing in Verden October 22 - 25, 2003.
Presenting lots of »type« and three outstanding basic gaits, the chestnut colt drew all eyes to him during the free running and free jumping phases. Upon completion of the "troting up" phase where he demonstrated his outstanding rythem and impulsion, he once again prooved his quality on the final "walking ring".
His sire Abanos ( Alabaster - Futuro - Aktuell, Gestut St. Ludwig) carries in his pedigree twice the top Hannoverian stallion Absatz., was 1c Premium stallion in Oldenburg, completed an excellent stallion testing with 143,24 points (2nd from 51), was reserve champion 4 year old in Oldenburg and in the year 2001 had a breeding list of 450 covered mares .
The dam line of this young colt carries the genes of GRENADIER (Grunewald - Valentino xx) a further Reserve champion of his stallion testing and proven producer of top dressage lines. Having BOLERO in the third generation includes yet another top Hannoverian stallion line. Further over GOLDSTEIN (Gotthard) and ABHANG III (Abglanz) the pedigree is well rounded out.
Highly interesting are the direct family connections of this high quality Abanos son. His direct half sister FINESS (Wandergesell - Grenadier -Bolero ) was the winner of the mare testing in Adelheidsdorf with a total score of 8,17 and has now continues her carrier in the show ring with wins at the basic levels.. With the Stallion testing winner and two time German young horse championship finalist WILD DANCE (Wolkenstein II - Matcho AA - Goldstein - Abhang III ) is yet another highly talented dressage stallion in the dams lineage. The now 6 year old WILD DANCE has already won in advanced medium level with his rider Leonie Bramall and shows all perspective for a future carrier at the higher levels. Further on the dams side is the internationally successful jumping stallion GOLDFEVER (Ludger Beerbaum).

WILD DANCE - a dresssage stallion for the future
BOTICELLO collects his 20th advanced placing in the show season 2003

With an outstanding performance at the show in Hameln WILD DANCE was able to demonstrate his great dressage potential . After his 3rd placing in a medium class in the morning he went on to greater things and won the advanced medium test with his rider Leonie Bramall. With super self carriage and dynamic impulsion in the excercises of the test he left the heavy starter field of 30 behind him thereby booked in his first medium win . His classy stablemate RONDA had to be satisfied with a second place finish.
Advanced placings number 19 and 20 for this years show season are now booked in for BOTICELLO and Leonie Bramall. A 2nd place in the Prix st George in Worpswede and a 5th placing in the qualification for Nurenberger Burgpokal in Juterborg add to round off a very successful first advanced year.

ALTEFELD'S RAVENNA - In hand Queen and Riding horse champion

With a rare and joyous double success ALTEFELD'S RAVENNA returned from the 7th anual German championship of the ZfdP in Herleshausen back to Niedernstocken and her training home Gestüt Mühlenort. After having collected top scores giving her the title of Riding horse champion 3 and 4 year olds with her rider Corinna Gocht she then went on to take the title of champion mare in hand.

A fine breeders success at the THE LOUIS-WIEGELS-SHOW for GESTÜT MÜHLENORT

Every 7 years the Hannoverian Society puts on an over regional in-hand show for mares in Uelzen. This year Gestüt Mühlenort was represented in the class of 2 year olds by their young mare sired by Munchausen out of a dam by De Niro / Weltmeyer whom was honored with a 1-d premium prize. At this meeting only the winning mares from the diverse regional shows are invited to compete for the top honors. This young daughter of the Trakehner champion stallion and finalist of this years Nurenburger Burgpokal, Munchausen ,presented herself as a highly modern type with lightfooted dynamic trot impulsion and an excellent ground covering walk.
