Fine finish to the outdoor season

At the end of the outdoor season our horses put in good preformances at the shows in Lindhorst and Bettenrode. DONNA ANTONIA (Don Frederico) and Leonie had good tests placing 4th in the Elementary and 2nd in the Medium in Bettenrode.
The imposing Westfahlen MARCHENPRINZ (Munchausen) and Trakehner stallion SHOWTIME (Polarpunkt) were also both in good form on this weekend. The grey gelding won the Advanced medium and placed 3rd in the Advanced class. SHOWTIME was yet again in top form with 70% and 2nd place in the Advanced class. DACCORD (De Niro) was also placed in the Advanced Medium.

The youngsters put in a good close to the season in a huge Novice class in Lindhorst ( over 30 starters). Leonie rode SHIRA MAREEN (Stedinger) to a 2nd place finish and directly behind, HINDENBURG (His Highness) in to 3rd place.

Team Hannover South: Perfect start

With a new Kur and new music Team Hannover South started their attack at the German Classics in Hannover. Team cheif Fritz Fricke led his quartett Iris Scheminowski AYLA, Thomas Schultz RUBIANUS, Wolfhrd Witte RASCALINO and Leonie Bramall DACCORD to victory with scores of 9.5.

Sweating for a thesis

Once a European Champion in YR three day eventing and now taking her veterinary studies on there firnal leg. Insa Weddige a former student of Leonie`s for many years has based her Thesis work on fitness and conditioning of Dressage horses. Leonie has taken 4 of our advanced horses into these on going fitness studies which included intervel gallops in different tempos with a heart monitor and blood sampeling. Our 4 dressage horses came through with flying colours!

Good results in New Zealand

Leonie made her way to New Zealand not just to catch up with old two legged friends but also to see how WOODSBEE (Wolkentanz II) and DORINGCOURT (Dressage Royal) were getting along in their new homes having left our stables last year on their long journey abroad.
With his new owner/rider Kylie Baker, WOODSBEE won his qualifying Elementery class and was 2nd in the final. He was then Reserve Champion at this level. The black Hannoverian stallion DORINGCOURT has developed beautifully. With his owner/rider Andrea Bank he won all 4 of his Elememtary tests including the final with scores over 70% and went on to become Elementary Champion and Show Champion! Well done guys, keep up the good work!
